This list contains those bills that became law pursuant to Article 4, Section 35 of the Nevada Constitution (they were passed by the Legislature but the Governor did not approve or veto them within the allowed period).

  Revises the provisions governing the Fund to Stabilize the Operation of the State Government. (BDR 31-580)
  
  
• AB266    Chapter 323       Effective January 1, 2010.
  Prohibits the sale of novelty lighters. (BDR 52-569)
  
  
• AB352    Chapter 198       Effective July 1, 2009.
  Makes various changes relating to the Spring Mountains National Recreation Area. (BDR 22-488)
  
  
• SB92    Chapter 499       Effective July 1, 2009.
  Makes various changes relating to the regulation of notaries public. (BDR 19-414)
  
  
• SB132    Chapter 199       Effective October 1, 2009.
  Revises provisions governing the treatment of animals. (BDR 50-369)
  
  
• IP1    Chapter 4       Sections 1, 9, and 10 of this measure become effective: (a) For the purposes of any challenge to the validity or legal sufficiency of this measure or any part of it, on July 31, 2008; and (b) For all other purposes: (1) If subsection 2 is applicable on March 18, 2009; or (2) If subsection 3 is applicable, upon completion of the canvass of votes by the Supreme Court. If enacted by the 75th Session of the Legislature and approved by the Governor as provided in subsection 3 of Section 2 of Article 19 of the Nevada Constitution: (a) Sections 2 to 5, inclusive, and section 8 of this measure become effective: (1) March 18, 2009, for the purposes of adopting the ordinance imposing the tax; and (2) on July 1, 2009, for all other purposes; (b) Section 4 of this measure expires by limitation on June 30, 2011; and (c) Sections 6 and 7 of this measure become effective on July 1, 2011.
  Imposes an additional tax on the gross receipts from the rental of transient lodging in certain counties.
