Against As a member of my HOA board, I feel strongly that this bill, even with the amendments, will make the job of board members impossible. We deal on a day to day basis with many minor problems from our neighbors, most of which require quick action by the board. To make us post a meeting for every little thing that happens in a community is unworkable. Our neighbors could have to wait at least 3 weeks for their problems to be taken care of. This could be leak, sewer problem, tree causing a driveway or sidewalk to raise & nothing could be done until a meeting is convened, which requires ample notice for all homeowners to attend. The increased wait time would be an inconvenience, plus the cost of notification EACH & EVERY would put an additional strain on our already strapped resources. We have 196 homes in our community so the math is very apparent with regards to mailing costs etc. Please vote NO on this cumbersome bill. Apr-09-2013
Against Use both, the Internet and newspaper. Many people may not be able to, or want to access or trust the government website. Apr-05-2013

For As publishing shifts from a physical medium like newspapers to the more commonly available electronic media like the internet, these changes WILL have to be made at some point. Posting verbose legal ads for significant lengths of time in newspapers can get very expensive, whereas, the costs for posting electronically can be negligible. This will save taxpayer dollars. In addition, the bill says that there must be a newspaper listing which DIRECTS people to the electronic source. This should be enough to satisfy the concerns of those who feel that the internet is insufficient. Feb-06-2013
Against No. If the government is planning on doing something that affects the citizens regarding their land, the internet is not reliable enough. I want to know that the information is also circulated in the newspaper. Feb-06-2013
