| For | Gov Sandoval...Really? you have stated that you would veto this bill because it is punishment to deny an American of the right to vote after COMPLETING their criminal sentence. Why do you think this should be a punishment? Is not this the purpose of the Sentence? When are all the unstated consequences of a felony conviction to expire then? Just a thought for you Honorable Sir....If you deny persons the right to participate in their own government by voting, Can you then take taxes and fees and other monies from those same people?...I believe this would fall under taxation without representation. Just an example of the law of unintended consequences at work. Thank you for your service sir, but I feel this law is needed to be passed if for no other reason than it is fair.
