For Should be a given for any politician to go through a cooling off period ! A no vote reinforces the publics view - and a correct one I feel - that they are paving a way for future employment for themselves. May-10-2013

For This bill makes sense. I would add to this bill one additional item. Every member of the legislature should be required to keep a log book recording every meeting date and time spent with a lobbyist. At the request of another person or lobbyist with an alternate view or opposing interest the legislator must grant (one time) an equal amount of time for that entity to be heard. This not only serves as a fair way to conduct the people’s business it might also reduce the amount of idle chatter. Mar-13-2013
For Please help reestablish lawmaker credibility with the public. I strongly support this bill. thanks. Mar-12-2013
For I think it should be NEVER allowed to be a lobbyist, but 3 years is a nice start. Mar-12-2013
For Make it four years! Mar-11-2013

For Good Bill! Feb-19-2013
For It is completely appropriate and a measure of good government to require a "Cooling Off" period before a former state legislator may be a paid lobbyist. This principle should apply to Federal legislators and their staffs as well. Feb-18-2013
For Feb-18-2013
