Having functioned for 30 years in prior approval versus file and use environments in many states, territories, and several countries, I can assure you Nevada’s populace/your constituents will definitely come out the winners when insurance companies are free to compete in bringing product and pricing innovations quickly to market in a file and use environment. Your regulatory staff will also find they are freed up to focus on what they define as vital to your constituency, rather than be tied up in many routine filings.
