| For | People can't just be in the moment anymore, which is ok unless people don't pay attention to themselves or others around them and become the cause of an accident. | Apr-26-2013 |

| Against | This is ridiculous. How is this enforceable? | Apr-01-2013 |
| Against | Do not make it illegal to text while walking across a highway, not because its dangerous but there just seems to be no end in government getting involved with public safety. There needs to be personal responsibility not so much government control that people cannot even decide whats safe and what is not safe. Sometime I think whoever has presented this bill wants to use the money from ticket writing to pay for another program. | Mar-28-2013 |
| For | There are too many people not paying attention to crossing the highway subsequently getting run over. | Mar-27-2013 |
| Against | Mar-24-2013 | |
| Against | This is just another useless bill that the police cant enforce due to the fact their is no teeth in the courts. Look at all the traffic ticket lawyers that lower all the moving violations to parking tickets here in Clark County. I personally know of several friends that have had numerous speeding tickets all reduced...therefore no points, and no insurance increases..therefore no determant..the cell phone texting ban will be useless. | Mar-24-2013 |

| Against | There are many activities that one should refrain from while walking across a highway. This is only one of them. If a person is so stupid that they focus on texting while they cross a road or highway, then they are also too stupid to follow this law. Also, it is not reasonable to expect law enforcement to enforce this law when they can't enforce speeding laws on the highway now. | Mar-10-2013 |
| Against | energy cost from solar power should not be kept secret from consumers | Mar-07-2013 |
| Against | I do not support this bill or any bill that further limits our personal freedoms or priveleges. If someone is dumb enough to stare at there phone while crossing the street in stead of looking for cars, they will ulimately pay the price. I just hope the drive of the car hitting them doesn't get hurt, but outlawing this practice will do nothing to change the possibility of this situation occuring. Remember, drugs are illegal and people still do drugs. Driving without a seat belt is illegal and peoople still drive w/o belts. I can go on. New laws, more laws, is not the answer. | Mar-05-2013 |
| Against | Mar-04-2013 | |
| Against | This is ridiculous. We don't even have a primary seat belt law in this state. Concentrate on something that saves lives. | Mar-01-2013 |
| Against | Enough of the Nannies trying to save people from themselves. This is a fine example of a useless law that will somehow cost us more money with no benefit. The Legislature has more important issues to address. | Mar-01-2013 |
| Against | Quite possibly the stupidest bill to ever be put forward in Nevada. | Feb-28-2013 |
| Against | Feb-28-2013 | |
| Against | The state does not need to be the nanny for people's actions. | Feb-28-2013 |
| Against | I consider myself a progressive, but now you've gone too far. People literally laugh when I tell them there is a bill in our legislature to do this. | Feb-28-2013 |
| Against | Feb-27-2013 | |
| Against | NRS 484B.283 Section 1 Subsection b: "A pedestrian shall not suddenly leave a curb or other place of safety and walk or run into the path of a vehicle which is so close that it is impossible for the driver to yield." It's already illegal to get hit by a vehicle; it is ABSOLUTELY NOT necessary to pass this bill. The government was not established to save us from ourselves! | Feb-25-2013 |
| Against | People must watch out for themselves. If not we don't need them in the gene pool. | Feb-24-2013 |
| Against | Back to this is ridiculous. | Feb-20-2013 |
| Against | This bill is not neccessary. | Feb-18-2013 |
| Against | YET another example of waste of taxpayer monies on bill that do nothing. Unfortunately, common sense is as lacking in state legislatures as it is in some people. And you can no more legislate common sense among politicians than you can among their constituents. | Feb-18-2013 |
| Against | Enough with the nanny state already! Get the government OUT of our lives! | Feb-16-2013 |
| Against | Please stop regulating everything on earth. We are fully capable of managing our lives without ridiculous nanny state laws. Thank you. | Feb-15-2013 |
| Against | If I wanted government trying to regulate every aspect of my life, I'd live in California. This bill is absolutely stupid and useless. There is no public benefit to this bill! Shame on the sponsors: Munford, Grady, and Hogan! | Feb-15-2013 |
| Against | I believe this pass bill though well intentioned is not an answer to distractions considering we lived in a wired world plus it takes away individuals from making their own choice. Having their own choice should be a priority. | Feb-15-2013 |
| Against | This is the epitomy of heavy handed regulation run amok. What about people who smoke while walking, or drink while walking? What next? | Feb-14-2013 |
| Against | absolutely stupid legislation | Feb-14-2013 |
