The four ballot questions below were authorized by the Nevada Legislature
for placement on the November 2, 2010, general election ballot.
Assembly Bill
No. 403 of the 75th Session provides for the submission to the voters of the question
whether the Sales and Use Tax Act of 1955 should be amended to authorize the Legislature to
amend or repeal any provision of this Act only if necessary to resolve a conflict with any
federal law or interstate agreement for the administration, collection, or enforcement of
sales and use taxes.
Assembly
Joint Resolution No. 3 of the 74th Session proposes to amend
the Nevada Constitution to revise provisions relating to the taking
of private property by eminent domain.
Senate Joint
Resolution No. 2 of the 74th Session proposes to amend the Nevada
Constitution to revise provisions relating to the selection of justices and judges.
Senate
Joint Resolution No. 9 of the 74th Session proposes to amend the Nevada
Constitution to allow the Legislature to establish an intermediate appellate court.
Note: All amendments to the Nevada Constitution which are proposed
by the Nevada Legislature must be approved in identical form in two successive sessions of
the Legislature and then approved by the voters at the next general election.
