The Commission on Special License Plates is an ongoing statutory commission consisting of five members of the Legislature and representatives from Nevada's Departments of Cultural Affairs, Motor Vehicles, and Public Safety. The Commission reviews and approves applications for the design, preparation, and issuance of a limited number of special license plates, and it may also request relevant legislation to be considered during the next regular legislative session.
