     *2.     Approval of minutes from the February 4, 2000, committee meeting.


     *3.     Report on results of public forum meetings to receive input concerning the new state college related to the college’s mission, degree programs, services to be offered and potential partnerships with business, industry and other entities – Betsy Fretwell, Intergovernmental Relations Director, City of Henderson.


     *4.     Preliminary report from the City of Henderson – Betsy Fretwell, Intergovernmental Relations Director, City of Henderson:

                        a) Development of a mission statement and possible degree programs.

   b) Potential services to be provided by the new college.

c) Potential partnerships between the new college and business, industry and other entities.

   d) Development of a campus master plan.


     *5.     Approval and recommendation to the Board of Regents – Richard Moore, Founding President and Jane Nichols, Vice-Chancellor for Academic and Student Affairs, University and Community College System of Nevada:

                        a) Mission statement for Nevada State College at Henderson.

                        b) A site for the new college.

                        c) Preliminary campus master plan.

               d) Capital funding request for the 2001-03 biennium for construction of initial buildings at the new state college.

                        e) Preliminary enrollment plan and operating budget for the 2001-03 biennium.


       6.       Review of resources available for completion of needs assessment and implementation plan for a 4-year state college in Henderson – Mark Stevens, Fiscal Analysis Division, Legislative Counsel Bureau.

     *7.       Review and approval to increase funding for the use of consultants by the City of Henderson for tasks related to preliminary planning of the new college – Richard Moore, Founding President, Nevada State College at Henderson.


       8.       Review of activities related to the development of an implementation plan for Nevada State College at Henderson – Richard Moore, Founding President, Nevada State College at Henderson.


     *9.     Review Advisory Committee timetable and set next meeting date.


     10.     Public Testimony.


     11.     Adjournment.
