Effective for all other purposes on: (a) October 1, 2015; or (b) the date on which the Director of the Department of Motor Vehicles, pursuant to section 16.5 of this act, notifies the Governor and the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau that sufficient resources are available to enable the Department to carry out the amendatory provisions of this act, whichever occurs first.

If sections 13, 15, 19 and 25 of this act become effective on November 25, 2014, and sections 1, 2, 3 and 5 of chapter 4, Statutes of Nevada 2008, 25th Special Session, at pages 15, 16 and 17, expire by limitation after November 25, 2014, sections 13, 15, 19 and 25 of this act expire by limitation on the day on which sections 1, 2, 3 and 5 of chapter 4, Statutes of Nevada 2008, 25th Special Session, at pages 15, 16 and 17, expire by limitation. (b) Sections 14, 16, 20 and 26 of this act become effective: (1) On November 25, 2014, only if sections 13, 15, 19 and 25 of this act do not become effective on November 25, 2014, pursuant to paragraph (a); or (2) On the day after sections 13, 15, 19 and 25 of this act expire by limitation only if those sections become effective on November 25, 2014, and thereafter expire by limitation pursuant to paragraph (a). 3. SB515 Chapter 450 Effective June 10, 2013.
  Provides for the issuance of bonds to repay loans from the Federal Government related to unemployment benefits and to establish adequate balances in this State's account in the Unemployment Trust Fund and for the temporary imposition of an assessment on employers to pay such bonds and related costs. SB521 Chapter 453 Sections 1 to 16, inclusive, and 18 to 25, inclusive, and 26 of this act become effective on July 1, 2013. Section 17 of this act becomes effective upon canvass of the votes after the general election held in November 2014 if the voters approve Initiative Petition 1 at that general election.
  Authorizes expenditures by agencies of the State Government for the 2013-2015 biennium. (BDR S-1242)
