AB2 Revises provisions governing the Land Use Planning Advisory Council. (BDR 26-175)
  Sections 2 and 3 of this act effective July 1, 2013. Section 1 of this act effective January 1, 2014.

AB16 Provides for the compilation and publication of the State Administrative Manual. (BDR 18-212)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB60 Establishes requirements for solicitation of charitable contributions by nonprofit corporations and other charitable organizations. (BDR 7-217)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB84 Requires district courts, in certain circumstances, to consider the facts and circumstances surrounding offenses committed by certain offenders who are veterans or members of the military to determine eligibility for an appropriate program of treatment. (BDR 14-124)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB86 Requires the State Contractors' Board to suspend or revoke the license of a contractor for failure to satisfy certain judgments concerning unemployment compensation or to comply with certain provisions governing industrial insurance and insurance for occupational diseases. (BDR 54-276)
  Effective June 3, 2013, for the purpose of performing any preparatory administrative tasks and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB89 Authorizes the formation of benefit corporations. (BDR 7-28)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB99 Revises provisions relating to notarial acts. (BDR 19-1)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB131 Revises provisions governing the Board of the Virgin Valley Water District. (BDR S-634)
  Effective January 1, 2014, for the purpose of filing a declaration of candidacy to serve as a member of the Board of the Virgin Valley Water District and January 1, 2015, for all other purposes.

AB147 Requires the notification of patients regarding breast density. (BDR 40-172)
  Effective June 2, 2013, for the purposes of adopting regulations and any other preparatory administrative tasks and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB156 Revises provisions relating to the sealing of certain records. (BDR 14-590)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB167 Establishes requirements for the permitting of certain vehicles that are driven in Nevada and owned by a nonresident business. (BDR 43-708)
  Effective June 11, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB175 Revises provisions relating to uniformed-service and overseas voters. (BDR 24-635)
  Effective May 10, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB213 Revises provisions governing the issuance of a certificate of registration to a provider of a service contract. (BDR 57-759)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB294 Revises provisions relating to economic development. (BDR 27-777)
  Effective June 12, 2013, for the purposes of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act and on and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB305 Revises provisions relating to highways. (BDR 35-1030)
  Effective May 27, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB312 Makes various changes to the Charter of Carson City. (BDR S-41)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB354 Prohibits the manufacture, sale or distribution of certain consumer products that contain or come in direct physical contact with Bisphenol A. (BDR 52-789)
  Sections 1, 2, and 4 of this act effective January 1, 2014. Section 3 of this act effective July 1, 2014.

AB358 Enacts the Uniform Deployed Parents Custody and Visitation Act. (BDR 11-171)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

AB424 Authorizes the State Fire Marshal and the State Board of Fire Services to issue administrative citations. (BDR 42-1151)
  Effective June 10, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations, and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

AB425 Revises the Nevada Insurance Code. (BDR 57-1156)
  Sections 1 to 26, inclusive, 31 to 32.1, inclusive, 32.5, 32.8, 118.1 to 118.6, inclusive, and 120 of this act effective June 12, 2013. Sections 27 to 30, inclusive, 32.2, 33 to 66, inclusive, 67 to 118, inclusive, 119 and 119.5 of this act effective: (a) June 12, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations; and (b) on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes. Section 66.5 of this act effective January 1, 2016. Sections 13, 14, and 15 of this act expire by limitation on the date on which the provisions of 42 U.S.C. § 666 requiring each state to establish procedures under which the state has authority to withhold or suspend, or to restrict the use of professional, occupational, and recreational licenses of persons who: (a) Have failed to comply with a subpoena or warrant relating to a proceeding to determine the paternity of a child or to establish or enforce an obligation for the support of a child; or (b) Are in arrears in the payment for the support of one or more children, are repealed by the Congress of the United States.

AB428 Revises provisions relating to energy. (BDR 58-797)
  Sections 1 to 25, inclusive, 26, 27, and 28 of this act effective June 11, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations or performing any other preparatory administrative tasks necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes. Sections 25.1 to 25.45, inclusive, of this act effective July 1, 2013. Section 25.55 of this act effective at 12:01 a.m. on July 1, 2013. Sections 1 to 23, inclusive, of this act expire by limitation on December 31, 2025.

AB445 Revises provisions relating to public bodies. (BDR 19-1121)
  Sections 2 to 5, inclusive, and 6 of this act effective June 2, 2013. Section 1 of this act effective January 1, 2014.

AB456 Revises provisions governing health care. (BDR 54-1102)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB21 Revises provisions governing state financial administration. (BDR 31-379)
  Sections 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 to 9.3, inclusive, 16.5, 68 and 69 of this act become effective on July 1, 2013. Sections 4, 7.1 to 7.9, inclusive, 13 to 16, inclusive, and 17 to 67, inclusive, of this act become effective: (a) On July 1, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and (b) On January 1, 2014, for all other purposes. Section 29 of this act expires by limitation on the date the regulation adopted by the Board of Examiners for Alcohol, Drug and Gambling Counselors for certification as a detoxification technician pursuant to NRS 641C.500 becomes effective.

SB40 Revises provisions relating to medical laboratories. (BDR 54-314)
  Effective May 21, 2013, for the purposes of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB66 Revises provisions governing the powers and duties of counties. (BDR 20-225)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB100 Revises provisions relating to certain providers of emergency medical services. (BDR 40-501)
  Effective May 28, 2013 for the purposes of adopting regulations and performing any preliminary administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB105 Enacts the Uniform Electronic Legal Material Act. (BDR 59-168)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB130 Revises provisions governing common-interest communities. (BDR 10-428)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB143 Revises provisions governing certain examinations for driver's licenses. (BDR 43-696)
  Effective May 24, 2013 for the purposes of adopting any necessary regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB165 Provides for transferable tax credits to attract film and other productions to Nevada. (BDR 32-781)
  Effective June 11, 2013, for the purposes of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act, and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes. This act expires by limitation on June 30, 2023.

SB167 Enacts provisions for the designation of certain hospitals as STEMI receiving centers. (BDR 40-229)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB210 Revises provisions governing certain motor carriers. (BDR 58-949)
  Effective June 3, 2013, for the purposes of adopting regulations or performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes. SB228 Revises provisions relating to public servants. (BDR 23-445)
  Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, this act becomes effective June 13, 2013. 2. Sections 16.3, 16.5, 24.5, 32.3, 40.5, 42.5 and 57 to 62, inclusive, of this act become effective on January 1, 2014.

SB229 Contingently amends and repeals the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact and the provisions of Senate Bill No. 271 of the 2011 Session. (BDR 22-726)
  Sections 2, 6, 7, 8 and 9 of this act become effective June 6, 2013. Sections 1, 3, 4 and 5 of this act become effective January 1, 2014, if the Governor of this State issues the proclamation described in section 7 of this act on or before that date. If the Governor of this State does not issue a proclamation pursuant to section 7 of this act on or before January 1, 2014, this act expires by limitation on January 2, 2014.

SB244 Authorizes the placement of a designation of veteran status on certain documents issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles. (BDR 43-80)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB303 Provides for the issuance of driver authorization cards. (BDR 43-596)
  Section 13 effective May 31, 2013. Section 12 effective July 1, 2013. Sections 1 to 11, inclusive, of this act become effective May 31, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB322 Revises provisions concerning the membership of the Board of Directors of the Department of Transportation. (BDR 35-1075)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB335 Revises provisions relating to taxicabs. (BDR 58-1064)
  Effective January 1, 2014.

SB399 Revises provisions relating to special fuels. (BDR 51-1052)
  Effective June 1, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and performing any other preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act, and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB423 Revises provisions relating to offenders. (BDR 16-1112)
  Effective May 30, 2013, for the purpose of performing any preparatory administrative tasks that are necessary to carry out the provisions of this act; and January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB433 Revises provisions governing motor vehicle fuel. (BDR 51-1101)
  Effective May 28, 2013, for the purpose of adopting regulations and on January 1, 2014, for all other purposes.

SB498 Revises provisions relating to telecommunications. (BDR 58-1097)
  Section 4 and section 1, subsection 2 of section 2, and section 3 of this act become effective on October 1, 2013. Sections 1.3 and 1.7, and subsection 1 of section 2 of this act become effective on January 1, 2014.

SB503 Revises provisions relating to drivers' licenses and identification cards. (BDR 43-1159)
  Sections 1 to 8, inclusive, 12 to 17, inclusive, 19, 20 and 23 to 28, inclusive, and 29 of this act become effective May 29, 2013. Sections 9, 10 and 11 of this act become effective on January 1, 2014. Sections 18, 21 and 22 of this act become effective on July 8, 2014.

SB516 Revises provisions relating to tobacco. (BDR 32-1224)
  Sections 1 to 16, inclusive, 18 to 30, inclusive, 32 and 35 of this act become effective on July 1, 2013. Sections 17, 31, 33 and 34 of this act become effective on January 1, 2014.
