Douglas McDonald, three-greats-grandson of Nevada's Governor "Broadhorns" Bradley, has been writing about the history of Nevada since he was 16. At one time he employed as the Acting Assistant Director of the Nevada Historical Society, worked as a deputy sheriff in Virginia City, operated his own book store in Elko, and once owned and ran the saloon in the old mining town of Ione.
