Letters from Nevada Territory 1861-1862
Letters from Nevada Territory are the reports filed by Andrew J. Marsh to his employer, the Sacramento Daily Union, on the proceedings of the first and second sessions of the Nevada Territorial Legislature. Different from official journals, the letters put man back into the proceeding. The letters were "discovered" in the old newspapers and were published with the assistance of the Legislative Counsel Bureau and the Max C. Fleischmann Foundation in 1971. Another volume of a similar nature is Reports of 1863 Nevada Constitutional Convention. Written by Andrew J. Marsh. Compiled by William C. Miller.
