The Acting Director, Roger Wilkerson, serves as the executive head of the Legislative Counsel Bureau (LCB) and directs and supervises all of its administrative and technical activities. The Legislative Commission appoints the Director of the Legislative Counsel Bureau and the Director, in turn, appoints the chiefs of the divisions, subject to the approval of the Legislative Commission. The LCB's division chiefs perform the respective duties assigned to them by law under the administrative supervision of the Director.
