The Legislative Committee for the Review and Oversight of the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency (TRPA) and the Marlette Lake Water System (MLWS), appointed by the Legislative Commission, is comprised of six legislators, three from each house. The Committee's duties include reviewing the budget, programs, activities, responsiveness, and accountability of the TRPA and the MLWS and communicating with members of the California Legislature to achieve the goals set forth in the Tahoe Regional Planning Compact (Nevada Revised Statutes 218E.565).
