The Legislative Commission's Committee to Study the Deposits and Refunds on Recycled Products is charged with evaluating the possible creation of a program that requires the payment and refund of deposits on recyclable products in Nevada. As part of this study, the Committee must consider the type of products to be included in such a program (aluminum, glass, plastic, et cetera) and analyze the process for the payment and refund of deposits on recyclable products. The Committee may also consider other methods of encouraging recycling in Nevada.
