Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, guided tours of the Nevada Legislative Building are currently unavailable. We look forward to being able to serve your group tour needs in the future. This page will be updated as
conditions warrant. Thank you, The Nevada Legislative Building Tour Program
Legislative group tours are scheduled through the Legislative Police office and it is best if the teacher/constituents involved work directly with
the Police office. If interested in a group tour of the Legislative Building please contact the Legislative Police office directly.
When an individual contacts the police to arrange a tour, all the required information will be collected, then the tour will be scheduled. A
confirmation with dates and times will be sent to point of contact.
Tour groups are limited to fifty (50) people per group and four groups per day. A tour takes approximately forty-five (45) minutes.
Most of our tours are of school groups, though we do schedule adult groups as well.
Tours are conducted by volunteers affiliated with the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P), managed by the Docent Program Manager in the Legislative Police.
Due to the Code Adam Policy
, the Legislative Police must receive, two weeks in advance, a complete list of
individuals under the age of eighteen attending any upcoming tour. This list will also be used to produce a Certificate of Visitation for each student.
80th Session Stats:
During the 80th Legislative Session in 2019, there were 100 tours servicing approximately 4,900 individuals from various schools and organizations.
