Employment Opportunities

The Nevada Senate is now accepting applications for session employment for the upcoming 2027 Legislative Session. Nevada's legislative sessions are held each odd-numbered year for 120 days between February and June. The Senate hires approximately 80 temporary employees to serve as nonpartisan support staff beginning in January and serving through the end of the legislative session. Some employees may begin at an earlier date or remain employed for additional months, depending on the needs of the Senate. Position Descriptions for openings are available below.
