Travel Directions to Carson City, Nevada Legislative Building
FROM Reno
Reno: Take I-80 East and merge onto I-580 South/US 395 South toward Carson City. Follow I-580/US 395 for about 30 miles. Exit on US 50 West (Exit 39) and merge right onto E William Street. Go to the intersection of William Street and Stewart Street and turn left on N Stewart Street. Go to the intersection of S Stewart Street and E 5th Street and turn right on E 5th Street. The Legislative Building will be located less than a block away on the right.
FROM Gardnerville/Minden/Carson Valley
Gardnerville/Minden/Carson Valley: Take US 395 North/Main Street and continue on US 395 North for about 10-15 miles. US 395 will turn into S Carson Street. Continue on S Carson Street. The Legislative Building will be located just past the intersection of S Carson Street and 5th Street on the right.
FROM South Lake Tahoe
South Lake Tahoe: Take US 50 East/Lake Tahoe Boulevard/Lincoln Highway for about 25 miles. Continue on us 50 East/Lincoln Highway. Turn left on S Carson Street/US 395 North. US 395 will turn into S Carson Street. Continue on S Carson Street. The Legislative Building will be located just past the intersection of S Carson Street and 5th Street on the right.
FROM Dayton
Dayton: Take US 50 West/Lincoln Highway for about nine miles. Go to the intersection of Lincoln Highway and Fairview Drive and turn left on Fairview Drive. At the traffic circle, take the FIRST exit on E 5th Street. Continue on E 5th Street for about two miles. The Legislative Building will be located less than one block past the intersection of E 5th Street and S Stewart Street on the right.

Where do I park when I visit the Legislative Complex?
Public parking is available in three parking lots. Parking lot #1 is the parking garage located at the NW corner of S Stewart Street and E 5th Street. Parking lot #2 is located next to the Sedway Office Building (SOB) on the SW corner of E 5th Street and S Plaza Street. Parking lot #3 is located at the SE corner of S Stewart Street and E 2nd Street. Other city owned lots and private lots are available throughout the downtown area. Public spaces are also available on many of the streets.
